Pertronix 009 Style Mechanical Advance Distributor
If you have an engine such as a stock single port with 30PICT, or a performance motor that requires mechanical advance only distributor, this is an excellent choice. Be sure to hook the positive wire from the vehicle to the positive wire on the coil and the positive wire from the distributor. If wires are accidentally hooked up backward, it will cook the electronics inside the distributor. If you are concerned that this may happen, it might be a good idea to step up to the Ignitor 2 model, which has circuit protection.
